Lo! What is this?

Lo! is a new monthly missive of writing and cartoons, odds and ends, illustrations, rants, jokes, stories, verbal spaghetti and animated potpourri.

It includes writing from Ben Pope, and design and cartoons from Will Hughes and Jack Chisnall.

Uhuh. Why though?

This year particularly, everyone’s inbox seems to be either barren scrubland or a bilious skip overflowing with harrowing tasks. So the plan is to put something in there every month that is delightful, curious, funny and crucially free.

While it’s still difficult to get out and about, to see and participate in culture, treat this like an open notebook - a small porthole into what we’re working on and thinking about, while the UK loiters quietly in the Atlantic like a plague ship.
